National Squad 2025|Champions Trophy
The national squad which Pakistan selected for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 has the approval of former captain Younis Khan who endorsed them for the February 19 to March 9 tournament.
Pakistan announced their cricket rosters for both the tri-nation series and Eight-team tournament when they made the announcement on January 31.
Younis Khan expresses full confidence that the team management selected the most suitable players for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 despite criticism from former cricketers.
All top cricket talent in Pakistan makes up the team that will compete in the Champions Trophy. Mental resilience serves as the principle factor that determines victory according to Younis.
He put focus on the combined support for the players that the team management selected. The selected team obtains full backing because its members were selected based solely on their performance achievement criteria. Urgent criticism following unnecessary squad changes creates surplus stress for the players according to him.
According to the previous national captain the team possesses enough talent to move into the Champions Trophy semi-finals bracket.
The current players have enough ability to achieve fourth-place status in the Champions Trophy competition according to his assessment.
